Love the antelope scenery on Rooiplat. Nothing better than a landscape like that dotted with animals

Hope you found the lions later on! The Kids look quite anticipating and it would be a shame to disappoint them

Because of the building going on, we booked the guesthouse again for next year. Let's just hope the electricity holds up, so we don't have to put up with the Generator again instead of the much longed for silence under a star-lit sky

That yellow thing is called a TLB. All heavy equipment in construction are normally yellow so it stands out for a safety point of view.

A small covered section would be a good idea Alf. Assuming it doesn't rain then of course it's nice to be in the sunshine, but unfortunately at this time of year the patio area was almost entirely in shade for our unit.

Ubejane is good for all sorts of smaller creatures... we'll meet some more later
I do hope that the guesthouse is a better experience for you next time! Are you going to be back in Addo as well?

Oh wow, what a beautiful animal! Great sighting and pics.

Seeing an aardwolf is absolutly fantastic and it did not even run away. You got it close up which is marvelous I have never seen photos of that kind of an aardwolf sighting before
