I think they have just been naturally expanding over the last 3 decades, Lis!

They came in by themselves from Zim in the 80s/90s, and at first were pretty much only in the Punda area! \O

Lack of Spraying in Moz ..allows them to spread to their historical range ..when the Portuguese ran Mocambique there was a strict and efficient Spraying regime ....= the demise of Yellow Billed oxpeckers then ..now they are coming back as their food is not been poisoned anymore
