We arrived at Kij Kij to find the two ladies which we had left there the previous evening still in attendance; the only difference was that they had been joined by a large adult male

They were fast asleep in the middle of the road

So we carried on to Melkvlei

The only sighting of note was that of another Bateleur eagle. This time a bit closer to the road.

After some coffee at the picnic spot, we retraced our steps back to the lions

We got back to Kij Kij and to the lions.
The one lioness had decided that the shade of a tree next to the road was much more comfortable than lying in the road itself
