Day 6 – 18th August 2016 (continued)

Just past the S79 turn off we spotted a large group of cars, it turned out to be a Leopard that was very well hidden among the branches

Everyone was being surprising well behaved for a change, We took a few pictures on the way through the crowd, u-turned and headed back to see if the lion cubs had managed to wake their parents

The cubs were up and play fighting, the parents were still ignoring them, something that I have become very good at over the years.

Then back up to Nkuhlu and on the way the Ellies that had now crossed the road were making a river crossing

The lioness nearly nailed that impala O\/

The male only one thing on his mind =O:

The causeway leopard ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ , but it sounds like another crowd. :O^

The lion cubs are cool and you should score this year’s trip as there’s a gang of cubs hanging out with the Lubyelubye pride ..0..

Hey Boet;

The hunt was close, and i nearly drove into the Sabie while trying to take photos and drive the car at the same time.

I see that the South is looking good at the moment, i have been tracking Latest Sightings on a map for the last few weeks, lots of Lion, Leopard and Cheetah O\/

Day 6 – 18th August 2016 (continued)

After a quick pitstop, as it was getting late and dark…. and the fact that we were the only ones at Nkuhlu and the baboons were busy on a raid, we spotted a lone lioness walking in the road calling, we kept following her for about 5 kilos

Fantastic Lion sightings Supernova. I especially love the shots of the stalking female. Even better that it wasn't accompanied by a traffic jam. :-0

We are in Kruger the last week in August. Will look out for you on the roads. \O

Yeah, lots of Lion cubs on the H4-1 this year. Lubyelubye and Nkuhlu areas. I assume these are 2 different prides? :-?

Thanks also to you and others for the sighting ettiquette tips. Very different to what i am used to so its great to be educated before we hit the roads. \O
