First up meet the crew - just three of us... Richard, Alex and myself. We were young back then

Most of the trip involved camping (in a tent that I now realise was too small for 3 of us) but it all worked out well and we didn't try to kill each other too often.

As it is so many years ago I can't remember all the places/events of the trip but I'll try my best to piece it together. The photos also aren't saved in order so it could get interesting

We flew from London to Joburg then on to Windhoek, and stayed at some cheap hostel for a few nights to allow us to get some kit together. Leaving Windhoek, our first stop would be Quivertree Forest Restcamp, but coming from the UK we were rather amazed at the extremely quiet and straight roads
The grasses along the route were cool as well
We stayed at Quivertree just the one night if I remember correctly, but got to see quite a lot of fun things in the area. They had resident meerkats, ostrich, cheetah & warthog
