"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Nelson Mandela The desire for equality must never exceed the demands of knowledge
We took a short trip in to Addo this morning despite the damp and drizzly weather.
It was a very quiet start to the day, but as we were driving round Mbotyi loop the water droplets on the web of this Orb Spider highlighted it. I think it's a garden orb spider, but I'm certainly no expert
Further round Mbotyi there were some eland and zebra with a bit of a disagreement
After a quick check at Peasland, we doubled-back onto Ngulube. Quite a few cars were lined up at the waterhole half way round the loop for a lone elephant, but it was otherwise quiet. Until we rounded a corner and found Josie, Dawn & Duffy wandering down the road
Our timing must have been perfect as they had literally just arrived onto the road from wherever they had come from. It gave us some good time having them walk with us before other cars arrived
With rain coming down, it seemed the lionesses were taking shortcuts to a morning drink by licking one-another
Before long they moved away from the road and started to make themselves comfortable behind some bushes. We were about to leave them when Witwarm arrived on the scene! He must have been following them at a distance, but we never saw him coming down the road
His attention to the girls wasn't exactly met with great enthusiasm
