Bayview Wind Farm outside Addo Elephant National Park
God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Re: Bayview Wind Farm outside Addo Elephant National Park
I'm in two minds here
The wind farms have to go somewhere and I do not think that people are going to Addo to see the view.
On the other hand, the wilderness feeling might get a bit disturbed, but it is not really so important in a park like Addo.
Better a wind farm than a mine or factory
The noise in the video is exaggerated! I guess that the elephants will get accustomed to it

The NOT wanting this to be next toAddo has nothing to do with Tourism, the View etc but rather the Loud Humming sound of the wind mills which Elephants can pic up for MANY Miles/Kms WILL definitely mess with the Communication ability of Elephants >> TAKE IT AWAY ESKOM go put it next to the Minister of Electricity's Mansions >> you choose which one but leave Addo alone and PROTECT OUR Wild Places and Elephants
