I'm sure everyone has a photo of some or other creature on this exact Leadwood stump...
Here is one of mine...
A Malachite.

Wow Sprocky, that's beautiful.
RP - Is the road around this lake open to the public. I see another look-out on the other side, and something like a wall?/road? across it.

The road eventually leads into Skuks staff village at the golf course clubhouse...that dam is gone!...I think the public can go to that last lookout loop...not sure?

Re: FLAVOUR OF THE MONTH NOVEMBER - LAKE PANIC
Three years ago I was lucky enough to be able to have sundowners at Lake Pakic. We were on the dam (to the right hand side looking at the aerial view above). An amazing place to chill out and watch the sun going down.

Creeping into the hide at Lake Panic in the early morning glow is a surreal experience. You get comfortable on the bench and just sit and listen to the sounds of the bush in the stillness of the morning. The light starts to gather and as the sun begins to rise, the mists float upwards in ribbons of steam giving off an eerie atmosphere.
