A new survey from SanParks:
http://www.sanparks.org/tourism/feedbac ... php?sid=75
This thing is amateurish in the extreme, and an obvious attempt to gather some sort of "scientific data" to use when promoting luxury developments in the future, and to influence the EIA process for the hotels.

Re: Concerning new "Survey" from SanParks
I cannot believe that SanParks has the audacity to put out something as pathetic as this. Every question is loaded towards hotel accommodation and no self drives.

Man was placed in charge and given the duty of caring for all creation, are we doing it?

Filled in the questionnaire, but the way they were conducting the survey all points to the same direction.
Hotels, park - and - drive and luxury.

Putting a price on an animal sighting is a scandal in itself, not to talk about all the exaggerated banter on the "Big Five", but with all the talk of educating the younger generations and not only, to love the bush this is to say the least incredible and immoral

Agreed all round. It is actually impossible to complete the thing without showing favor to hotels and park & drives

Ironically, it coincides with the restarting of the EIA process for the Malelane hotel!
There is no "need and desirability" study information for that yet!
Apart from the one old proper one also fom Potch University, which emphatically rejcted hotels! So the spin is now just to get a "survey" from the same source!

If this doesn't show the need for the Avaaz petition to get going, nothing will

Re: Concerning new "Survey" from SanParks
I saw this subject on the yellow forum and it seem this subject plus the one about behavior at sightings is very intense(!
) ,debates .
My comment on that forum;
Canned lions now we have canned sightings,The results , look at the picnic spots, birds and monkey's.Don't follow the easy way to meet the budget.
