How nice The chicks are already big, almost ready to fly

WOW, Toko!!! I love to see storks and keep a regular eye on those
that I pass when I drive to school and via webcam on my Foehr ones.
But something seems wrong with the latter. Haven't seen the chick
(only one out of three eggs) for quite a few days now. Not sure
if it survived. =(

Something else: Is it just my imagination or do the meerkats at
Tswalu grow winter fur? They seem to be more fluffy than before.

Mel, I also keep an eye on four stork couples around here, and luckily all are doing a great job raising the yougs :D

I think the meerkats don't grow a winter fur, but they are more fluffly in the mornings when it is still cold.

YAY! The last remaining one is alive!!!
There have obviously been fights for this nest during which the other eggs got lost. =(
