Seeing as Fattie has gone AWOL for the time being, I'll do the next one!
Renosterpan is an old artificial waterpoint, still operating, on the H3 between Malelane and Skukuza. There are several natural pans in the area too, hence the location.
The parking lot setup looks a bit different lately!
The place is named after rhino, so one would think it is safe to put up rhino pics here!

A scan of a very old sighting there!
One advantage of Renosterpan is that it has a big tree that provides shade during certain parts of the day, a rarity at waterpoints these days...
Also, it is a prime game area, with a wide variety of species and ALL the carnivores! The access road itself is prone to erosion and corrugation, but good to look there already for game, seen the big 5 on the access road, including the biggest leopard I've ever encountered!

A Black Stork in a small pan
Usually one of the less crowded spots in the area for a relaxing stop. I haven't seen anything there expect elephants and birds, that's why I like it

Nice, Toks!
Got parked in in the front of the parking area in my old red Citigolf many years ago...lots of cars!
An ellie bull came to drink, and across the water, and wanted to move through, but the cars were jammed!
The bull came to my car first, obviously, and I was a bit scared...I probably showed like that!
He tapped the bonnet a bit with his trunk, quite politely, and cars started moving away behind me, but not much I could do?
Fortunately he was quite relaxed, and moved around the parking area calmly!
