The long-crested eagle - what a great find!!! 
Don't talk to me about the emeralds though... Saw one on the very first morning, sitting on the road still in Matyholweni camp.
But of course it took off before I could have landed a shot. Never saw one again.
At least not that I would know of.

The cheetah were kind to us again today and had made a kudu kill a short way off the road. I've got millions of photos to sort out but here are a couple to be going on with.... more to follow I'm sure

As far as I can see there can't have been any lasting damage. It's amazing how quickly they can heal - Josie had two really big gashes from a warthog that went through her cheek... she basically had gillsMel wrote:(Can you please check for the right side of their faces?
