Fantastic that you got to see a brown hyena!

Hi Peter and welcome on board. I agree that the small animal loss of life must have been plenty.Peter Betts wrote: ↑Sun Oct 14, 2018 9:02 am Great sightings here and to see a Brown Hyena is very privaleged ..While no large mammals were killed you can be sure that the toll amongst the snakes, Tortoise, rats and Mice, Nesting Birds , Insects , etc would have been huge ..Very sad
Thank you Lisbeth.
Hi Flutterby. Yes we did. We also got photos of him walking towards the waterbuck. Thought we might see a waterbuck kill.
Thanks for joining the TT Pumbaa and for the lovely comment.
Hi Lisbeth. Your memory is fantastic. Yes, the LBR is my favourite.
I think they said that there was insurance - but how much. I know Heinrich Neumeyer, the leopard whisperer of Pilanesberg, is asking for everyone to submit their photos of leopards. They will then publish a calendar and all proceeds will go to the Mankwe Hide rebuild fund.
If my memory serves me correctly I think the request for SANParks to take over. Good idea me thinks.
Hello Mel. Nice to have you on board. Thank you for the lovely comments.
