they are indeed not that easy to capture

Lots of general game plus quite a lot of lions - Not a bad start into your Satara stay

Since the Brat is studying Film and Photography, he now knows how to use his camera properly and only shoots on Manual and was keen to teach me. It took me the full five days to learn all the ins and outs, but I think my photos did get better as the trip progressed.![]()

Thanks Mel. Those pics were taken with the Point and Shoot so slightly easier to use when you can look through the lens.Mel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 4:13 pm I hope, Lis will allow us to at least look at her cute squirrel![]()
For shooting blind your photos aren't bad at all! Actually, there are people out there who don't take photos as good as those -
and that is WITH looking![]()
And you thought of a food pic for the RP too.![]()
Next time, maybe I could get a caracal?![]()
Yes, we could see the lions through the windscreen!Klipspringer wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 6:04 pm I hope you got a glimpse on the lions without checking what your camera had captured![]()
Congrats on the Green-winged Pytilia (with waxbill, I think)!

Thanks Roger...some of these sightings really are like scrums!RogerFraser wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 9:19 pmNice pics of the Squirrel & not bad pics of the lions even though you could not get a clear view by the angle .
Thats why we refer to some sighting as scrums the cars all have lined up scrumming for position .
