and finally they had to keep up with each other
and more of them were scattered over the whole area and we had great fun in watching and photographing them.
Gudzani dam looked far more peaceful that morning and now the water was only flowing slighting over the dam wall and we even discovered a giant kingfisher on the look out.
Luckily today the causeway was passable although the water was still flowing over same and the normally present the water birds stayed away that morning because the water was still a bit too high. At least we were compensated with the sighting of a couple of amur falcons
a bit further down the road and we could not believe our luck with the weather that day as it was simply the best weather with blue sky nearly the whole day and bearable temperatures.
To our delight another woodland kingfisher was visible and for sure very vocal
and we even spotted more birds such as three banded plovers, another brown raptor and a black shouldered kite
who posed nicely for us but then took off.
