From the SANParks - Kruger National Park FB page
In response to Lake Panic being dry: The dam is continually being fed 24/7 from the Sabie River. Due to its high capacity and the dry season, the dam is unable to fill up to the entrance of the birdhide.
There is currently flow into the dam from the manhole where it is fed from.
It is dry season and all rivers in the park are dry, or very low.
Rain is the only solution.
