I mentioned earlier that there were still 3 days left of our holiday. Day 1 was 7 April when Pete, Ken and I went off to Basingstoke to try and get some pics of a steam train around Basingstoke - Salisbury area. These pics to follow later once I can get them transferred from Kens e-mail to My Pictures. I took video of the days outing and Pete and Ken took photos.

8 April as still very windy and cold but overcast with no snow. Joan and I decided to go have one last look in London.

You might have noticed that in all the photos Joan and I are wearing the same jackets. They were the only real warm jackets that we took with. We did change our other clothing though. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Nice photos again STF. Strange that you go to London and see statues of South African's whilst I went to Cape Town and saw a statue in remembrance of a Brit. -O-

Looks like you really enjoyed yourselves despite the weather. \O
